Credit union partner brief
Rolling Redemption – Credit Union Partner
We prepare bankable CDL earners; you provide starter products that rebuild credit and trust.
Rolling Redemption is a pilot-scale re-entry and workforce model built around trucking.
Participants move from training → placement → stable miles with coaching,
housing support, and accountability. That means predictable income and case-managed
behavior – exactly what a credit union needs to safely serve people who have been
locked out of traditional products.

Partner products
- Secured checking & savings: low-fee accounts with auto-deposit from program payroll.
- Credit-builder loan: small installment line aligned to training completion and early miles.
- Starter card / share-secured card: tightly capped limits with auto-pay from deposit account.
- Refi path: refinance high-cost vehicle/tool debt once stability targets are met.
The goal is to build a clean on-ramp: 12–24 months from “no bank” to
“healthy, portable relationship with your credit union.”
Risk controls
- Income verification: program-verified hours and employer placement, not just self-reported.
- Case management: coaching, check-ins, and support for budgeting and crisis handling.
- Guardrails: conservative limits, required auto-pay, and clear “pause/reset” rules if income drops.
- Early-warning data: missed miles, coaching flags, or housing changes surfaced early.
We are not asking you to relax your standards; we are giving you a safer lane to serve a
population you already see in collections and write-offs.
Why this matters: every participant that stays housed, working, and parenting
is one less churned account, one less charge-off, and one more long-term member with real loyalty.
What we’re asking from a pilot credit union
- A named point of contact for underwriting and product design.
- Agreement on 1–3 starter products to launch with a very small cohort.
- Data-sharing on repayment and account health (in aggregate, not PII for public reporting).
- Room to co-brand success stories and community impact once the model proves out.
